Bringing Hope to the Creeks
Welcome to the Directorate of Projects of the Catholic Diocese of Bomadi, Nigeria.
Across the creeks and riverine communities of the Niger Delta, our people face each day with faith, courage and resilience. Yet many communities continue to experience limited access to quality education, healthcare, clean water, transportation and essential infrastructure. These realities call us to put our faith into action through service that upholds human dignity.
Inspired by the Gospel and guided by the pastoral vision of our Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Hyacinth Oroko Egbebo, MSP, the Directorate coordinates projects that respond to these needs. We work with communities, benefactors and development partners to strengthen the Church’s mission and create opportunities for lasting development.
For us, every project is about people: a child who deserves a classroom, a family in need of safe drinking water, a sick person seeking care, and a remote community longing for the reassuring presence of the Church. We seek to bring hope through practical action, responsible stewardship and a commitment to those most in need.
These pages offer a window into our mission, ongoing projects and the communities we serve. They are also an invitation to become part of this work. Through your prayers, expertise, generosity and partnership, you can help turn urgent needs into lasting opportunities.

- Rectories for priests in their parishes
- Transport for priests, many of whom serve riverine communities spread across wide areas
- Education: classrooms and the school apostolate
